One day, in a place of your choosing, to settle the decisions you have been carrying alone and leave with a plan you trust.
Apply for Your Decision RoomA brief application. I respond to every applicant within two business days.
Six focused hours devoted entirely to you, your company, and the decisions in front of you.
We meet in person wherever you feel most at ease: your city, mine, or the destination you have long wanted to see.
Of legal, transactional, and dispute resolution experience in the room with you.
You have built something real. The revenue is coming in, the team is growing, and the people around you depend on your judgment. Yet the decisions that matter most still wait on your desk, because there is no one else in the room qualified to think them through with you. That is a structural gap, and it is one of the most common gaps I see in founder-led companies that have outgrown the way they began.
Leaders of large companies walk into work surrounded by advisors who know the business well enough to test their thinking, catch legal and operational gaps before they become crises, and help them move with both deliberation and speed.
Founders rarely inherit that support with the title. Without it, decisions stall, second-guessing creeps in, and the founder becomes the narrowest point in her own company. The Decision Room gives you a full day with that level of counsel.
Legal risk identified before it becomes a crisis.
A trusted partner to test your largest decisions.
Operational gaps identified and addressed systematically.
Structure built to sustain the vision over the long term.
Every decision, approval, and change of direction runs through you, and the business moves only as fast as you do.
Your team is capable. What is missing are the systems and governance that would allow you to delegate with confidence.
A contract, a hire, a partnership, or a change in direction, and no one in your circle is equipped to think it through with you at the level it deserves.
Legal gaps, operational blind spots, and governance weaknesses have been accumulating quietly into risk you have not had time to address.
The next stage requires decisions and structure you have not built yet, and you want someone who has seen this before to help you build it well.
You have the intelligence and the instincts. What you have been missing is a seasoned advisor beside you, and very few leaders succeed for long without one.
Clear thinking rarely happens at the same desk where the pressure lives. For one day, you step out of your routine and into a setting that allows you to breathe, reflect, and decide well.
We meet in person, wherever you choose. It may be a quiet setting in your own city, a day with me in mine, or a destination you have been longing to experience and have been waiting for the right reason to visit. You tell me where you feel at your best, and I take care of the rest: the venue, the structure of the day, and the pace of our work.
An example for a leader who prefers a slower morning.
Meals and refreshments throughout the day, along with one restorative experience, are included.
Before we meet, I review your governance structure, operational framework, key contracts, and decision-making gaps, so that our day is spent on decisions rather than background.
One focused day with no interruptions and no other clients. We identify legal and operational gaps, test your largest decisions, and settle what has been waiting on you.
A complete assessment of where your governance structure is strong, where it is exposed, and what must be built or strengthened before your next stage of growth. This assessment is also offered as a standalone engagement.
You leave with a documented roadmap of clear priorities, next steps, and the governance framework to support them, built specifically around the realities of your business.
Every Decision Room includes meals and refreshments throughout our day together, one restorative experience, and complete confidentiality under a signed nondisclosure agreement.

The Decision Room gives you one day with a seasoned advisor beside you. Many leaders leave wanting that support to continue. The CEO Confidante™ is a twelve-month private advisory relationship that keeps that counsel close as each new decision arises.
If you choose to continue into The CEO Confidante™ within 14 days of your Decision Room, your full $10,000 Decision Room investment is credited toward your engagement.
I am an attorney, governance counsel, and strategic advisor with more than 25 years of legal, transactional, and dispute resolution experience. My career began supporting the business operations of a Fortune 500 company and has since spanned government, higher education, and the nonprofit sector. I earned my MBA while working in higher education, where I also began my mediation practice.
I founded LAKE Solutions, LLC after watching capable founders reach the same invisible ceiling again and again. They had the vision and the drive. What they lacked was the structural and strategic counsel that corporate leaders take for granted, and I built this firm to provide it.
The structure must exist before the crisis arrives. Once the crisis arrives, the structure is all you have.
Wherever you feel most at ease. Within the continental United States, The Decision Room is $10,000. For destinations outside the continental United States, The Decision Room Abroad is $15,000, which includes my international travel and accommodations. Once you share your preference, I select the venue and design the day.
Your first payment reserves your date. Payment deadlines are measured from the day you reserve, regardless of how far in the future your Decision Room is scheduled. Within the United States, the balance is due within 30 days of reserving. Abroad, the balance is due within 45 days of reserving. If your Decision Room is scheduled sooner, the full balance is due 14 days before your date.
Payments are non-refundable once your date is reserved, because your date is held exclusively for you and travel is arranged on your behalf. You may reschedule once with at least 30 days' notice. Please select your new date within 30 days of your request, and we will make every effort to hold your Decision Room within 60 days of your original date.
If you reschedule within 30 days of your date, you are responsible for any airline change fees, fare differences, or non-refundable lodging already incurred. Within 7 days of your date, you may still reschedule once. Because your date and travel have already been committed, a late rescheduling fee of 25% of your investment applies ($2,500 within the United States or $3,750 abroad), in addition to any travel costs already incurred. If you become ill or face an emergency in that final week, the late rescheduling fee is waived and only travel costs already incurred apply.
I travel with trip insurance for every Decision Room, and I recommend that you do the same.
If severe weather, travel disruptions, or other events beyond either party's control prevent us from meeting, your Decision Room will be rescheduled without penalty. In the unlikely event that I must reschedule, you may choose a new date or receive a full refund of your investment.
We will find a path forward together. Your Decision Room may be rescheduled, held near your home, or redirected to continuity planning, so that your company has a clear plan to keep operating and generating revenue while you recover.
You arrange and cover your own travel and accommodations. My travel is included in your investment in both options.
Six hours of focused advisory work, meals and refreshments throughout the day, and one restorative experience such as a spa treatment. We schedule the day around your natural rhythm, so a morning person and an afternoon person will have very different days.
The Decision Room is designed as an in-person experience, because the depth of our work depends on being in the same room. If circumstances make travel impossible, we can discuss alternatives before you reserve.
Please reserve at least 30 days in advance for locations within the continental United States, and at least 60 days in advance for destinations abroad.
The decisions that have been waiting on you. Before we meet, I will request the documents I need for your pre-session deep dive, such as governing documents, key contracts, and your current organizational structure.
Yes. Every engagement begins with a signed nondisclosure agreement, and the same standard of confidentiality applies to everything we discuss.
If you enroll in The CEO Confidante™ within 14 days of your Decision Room, your $10,000 Decision Room investment is credited toward your engagement. For The Decision Room Abroad, the $10,000 advisory portion is credited.
Choose your setting, bring the decisions that have been waiting on you, and leave with clarity and a plan you trust.
